We operate on a small budget. Our income originates from diverse sources, including advertising local businesses, donations and sponsorship of our radio programmes.
We have received small funding grants from local councils, the National Lottery, Age Concern and local businesses.
The Angel Radio team numbers over 70 volunteers.
Several are in their 80s, most are over 60.
Most have never worked in radio before.
Most are fit and active.
Some have disabilities, including blind, deaf, arthritic, Parkinson's and stroke.
All do as much as they feel comfortable with.
