Angel Radio volunteers work as many hours as they feel is appropriate. They generally work as a team with many volunteer tasks overlapping other tasks. Most of our volunteers work at 17 Market Parade in Havant, in Hampshire, although we also have quite a few people on the team who work from home.

Volunteers ideally live within the Borough of Havant or in Portsmouth, but this is not obligatory.

If you would like to join the Angel Team please, in the first instance, write to the Station Manager, Tony Smith at 17 Market Parade, Havant, Hants PO9 1PY and explain why you wish to join the team and what work you would like to do. Or email tony@angelradio.uk

Programme Presenters:  We have vacancies for a team of night-shift presenters.

This is part of the continuing expansion of our work to help people who feel particularly lonely at night. The right people for these roles will have been listening to Angel Radio for several months and are fully aware of our music policies and the type of music & chat suitable for our night-time audience.

Full training will be provided.

Sale of LPs and CDs: We are urgently looking for somebody with experience of selling on eBay and/or Amazon to sell thousands of CDs and vinyl from our collection. You will receive commission on every sale you successfully complete. You could work from home or at Angel Radio, whichever suits you best.

Friday Evening Receptionist: This voluntary post is to work on our reception desk from 6pm to 8pm on Fridays to answer phones, take record requests & quiz answers, and find records in our library during Big Col's Wobbly Wireless programme. You will work as part of a small, friendly, busy team.

Full training will be provided.

78rpm shellac to MP3 transfers: We need a volunteer with an interest in saving and restoring 100,000 old 78rpm records. Please Note - Unless you are interested in very old records this could be a boring job. The most suitable person will have basic typing skills, an ability to work alone and be fairly dexterous. Working hours to suit yourself. The ideal candidate will live within 5 miles of Angel Radio's Havant studio.

Full training will be provided.
