Monday 6th April 2015

Havant Borough 50+ Forum

This forum was formed many years ago by local residents, monthly meetings are held where they have guest speakers covering a wide range of topics.

Members also attend meetings with age concern and NHS to give points of view and to push forward ideas for care of the elderly. If we feel the council have made a mistake, we will challenge them.

We were the first to protest about the War Memorial. We lead the fight to save the wall tiles in the local hospital.

We are a friendly bunch, who have helped to sort out many issues for the local residents. We would like to welcome new members to our next meeting at the Beacon in the Meridian 1:30pm to 3:30pm then every first Monday each month.
