Saturday 20th February

IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO DATE

A very special evening for single older people to meet others in the same situation. With entertainment from local musicians and a hot buffet, it’s a great way to meet new people.

Getting older doesn’t mean that our need for closeness or companionship goes away. Many people in their 60s and beyond now find themselves alone, whether through bereavement or perhaps the end of a relationship after the children have moved out. But the thought of meeting someone new can be a daunting prospect, especially if you have spent years or decades in a relationship with the same person. But this event is designed to prove that it’s never too late to meet someone new, who could become a good friend, a companion or even something more special. A similar event in Gosport last year was a huge success, with more than 50 people joining in the fun.

Venue: Lockswood Day Centre, Centre Way, Locks Heath from 7pm to 10pm …. Tickets are £5 and must be booked in advance – contact Brendoncare on 01962 857099
