Waterlooville Police Safer neighbourhood ‘Pop up shop’

Promoting a safer summer and offering crime reduction advice.

One of the main issues this summer is shed break-ins so there will be a shed borrowed from ‘Wicks’ to educate members of the community …. a sort of ‘Sheducation’……  

There will also be other important information, for example neighbourhood watch, Portsmouth city council, Havant borough council, Environmental services etc.  

There will also be fun stuff for all the family like, competitions, face painting, bobby the panda and more……

This year’s Fete has a Bond theme commemorating Ian Fleming’s legacy, fifty years after his death.

Rogate village hall and recreation ground.

The fete is starting at 1230, with food such as a hog roast and BBQ being available and will close at 4pm.

A service of commemoration will be held at St Faith’s Church in Havant as part of a series of events to mark the centenary of the start of the First World War.

The Mayor of Havant, Councillor Marjorie Smallcorn along with Councillors, town dignitaries and members of the Royal British Legion will be attending the service on starting at 7pm.

This Concert features music the men might have known such as the Isle of Wight Rifles March. In addition there will be later pieces including the ʻToc H Marchʼ and  ʻHymn to the Fallenʼ
